I just made a fractal based on my own formula z = z * (z mod x) (could easily have been done before) and I defined z mod x for complex z and x as z - trunc(x/y)*y (the function ‘trunc’ just rounds towards 0). This image uses the complex value of the pixel as the initial value, 2 as x, 100 as the bailout value and with 100 iterations (more iterations doesn’t make much difference). It’s not that interesting to zoom in on.
Turned out surprisingly beautiful and artistic. I might do some more of these; it’s really satisfying for like 2 minutes work. If you’re not into it I apologise.
